international day of happiness
Make it Happy in collaboration with other organizations and individuals helped to create the International Day of Happiness that is currently celebrated around world on March 20th. This celebration was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28 June 2012. We visualize March 20th as a new holiday on which companies, governments, and individuals around the globe will celebrate and advance the role of happiness in our lives.
happy post project
The Happy Post Project uses art and creative endeavors to spread happiness by empowering people with a simple question: "What Makes You Happy". The experiment consisted of prompting people to reflect on what makes them happy and then asking them to write or draw that on a 3x3 post-it and share it with the world via the web and art installations. Within a period of 20 months the experiment had gone viral and we were hosted installations globally. The Happy Post Project has been featured at TEDx conferences, GOOD.com, and various news and radio stations.
